Grounding in Love and Compassion | Journey with Julie and Kaz | Episode 8

Julie: Welcome, everyone. This is our October episode of Journey with Julie and Kaz, and we are so happy you are here with us today to partake in our conversation, and we hope this will find you well. It’s, uh, yeah, a beautiful time of year on both, uh, both Northern Hemisphere and Southern Hemisphere, so… yeah.
Kaz: Hey, everyone. It is a beautiful time of year over here in Australia, although I don’t think Mother Nature really knows that it’s supposed to be spring, because it’s… it’s really… Summer, winter, summer, winter. So… but that’s okay, you know, we all get confused sometimes, so…
Julie: Yes, yes, yes. Well, yeah, so speaking of Mother Nature, and some of what I was… I thought we would talk about today is talking about how can we help the Earth? How can we help Mother Gaia or Mother Nature, whatever you like to use as the name. And as we think of Mother Gaia, our Earth, how we can assist her, because she experiences… the more I’m understanding is she experiences the emotions we’re experiencing, so all the people in the world, on Earth, and our emotions that we’re having are also impacting the Earth and the emotions she’s feeling as well. And as we know, our emotions can get stuck in our body, that emotions are basically energy in motion.
Julie: And so, if we can… We know that there’s lots of things happening around the world that can have our emotions all up and down and all over the place, and if we can… Our emotions… so, our emotions are energy emotions, so if we allow ourselves to feel the emotion and let it go, it’ll last about 90 seconds, maybe 5 minutes max, if your thoughts are mixed in there. But if we allow it to go, and to process through, to feel it, if we try to suck it down, then we’re gonna have it there, and we’re gonna have to deal with it later.
Julie: But if we allow ourselves to feel it, and let it process through, then it’ll be gone, and we can be… we can… be away from it, unless we start bringing it back again, if it’s a situation that keeps coming up into our… purview. But if we can let that go, then the more we can let things go, we help the Earth let go of those emotions, too, of those feelings that it’s getting from all of us, and ones that she’s got, that she’s had to deal with over years and years of things happening on Earth.
Kaz: Yes.
Julie: So, yeah, so it’s really, um, good, and as we… go outside and do our grounding and be in nature, the more we can be sending love to the Earth, to all of the nature, to the Earth. Then, if we’re sending those emotions of love and light to her, then that will help her also with her healing of releasing these old emotions that she’s got pent up.
Kaz: Yeah, no. Yeah, because she is a sentient being. She’s a living, breathing… body, you know, like, and…
Julie: Mm-hmm.
Kaz: It’s just incredible that we are so much like her. You know, Mother Earth does have emotions. She does, has been holding stuff in, doing everything for everyone. You know, she’s just like us. And it’s… everything is a reflection of us. So it’s really incredible when you look at all the emotions she’s going through and how she’s letting her anger out. And she’s, you know, letting her tears flow. It’s a really beautiful process when you know that it’s a healing event.
Julie: Mmhm.
Kaz: You know, I myself have experienced that suppression for years and years and years and years and years until it exploded. And I was an angry, emotional… I was an absolute nightmare of a person through that time. But I had no control over it, you know. It was emotions that I’d stored up that just went bang. And that was my volcano, you know. It was incredible. I was murderous even, you know. It was just an incredible experience that I went through, and I can see that in Mother Earth at the moment. She’s letting go of all the abuse and all the stuff that she’s been put through. And… We need to change how we approach her. Because, you know, she’s a sensitive being, and she needs love, and she needs all that stuff. So rather than…
Julie: Yes.
Kaz: hate her for creating a flood, or a landslide, or some of the other things that are happening in the world. Send love to that being, because it’s love that healed me. It’s love that heals everybody.
Julie: Mm-hmm. Okay.
Kaz: So, um, and it’s really… important but difficult conversation, you know, because people approach anger with more anger, with frustration, or, you know, they don’t approach it with the love and the kid gloves that it really needs. There’s a lot of pain underneath that anger.
Julie: Mm-hmm.
Kaz: So… Let Earth do what she has to do, you know. You know the hot spots. Stay away from them. Move away from them. Focus on the good things. Be involved in the love, the kindness, and the good.
Julie: Yes.
Kaz: That’s my, um… take on things.
Julie: Yes, I agree with that completely. The more we can be in our… Knowing that all is well, if we can stay centred and we can be in our calm place, we’re sending that calm, peaceful energy to the earth as well, and that’s going to help her to be able to be in that calm, centred place as well. And, yeah.
Kaz: Yeah. Yeah. I, I don’t know so much if it matters where we send that love to, but that we feel it, that we have it, that we hold it in high regard, and that it, it’s, it’s there for every part of life.
Julie: Mm-hmm.
Kaz: You know, Mother Earth… I always say Mother Earth because my son’s name is Gaia. So, in essence, I am Mother Gaia, so I always say Mother Earth, or Mother Nature.
Julie: Okay. Okay.
Kaz: Okay. And, um… you know, I think the respect and the love that’s there needs to be sent out in all directions, not in one specific direction.
Julie: Mm, okay.
Kaz: Um, because everything at this time needs more love, not less. You know, there is no target that needs it more. So…
Julie: Right.
Kaz: Just be love. Just hold…
Julie: Mmhm.
Kaz: that space of love without judgement for everyone.
Julie: Right. Yes, that’s… that’s a key thing, too, not judging, and that’s always hard. There’s a difference between judging and discerning, and so we can… um, discern versus judge. Doesn’t mean we can’t be aware of what somebody is doing or whatever, but we can…
Kaz: Yeah.
Julie: not judge them because we know everybody’s on their own journey and everybody’s working through and doing the best that they can in each moment based on what they know.
Kaz: That’s right.
Julie: In that moment, and so the more we can not judge others, as well as not judge ourselves, and give ourselves a break, and say, yes, you’re doing the best that you can in this moment, and it’s all well.
Kaz: Yep. Yep. There’s, um… Judgement will just push it further into fear. [unclear]. And self-judgement, of course. Absolutely. So find the love in under or wrapped up in all of those emotions that are there. Find the love in every situation, and that doesn’t mean you have to not… look at what is really going on with you.
Julie: Mmhm.
Kaz: But to know that there is love there, always, to be able to feel it, to be able to come back to it at the end of the day. At the end of the moment, like, love is highly important. Remind each other through all difficulties that we go through. Remind each other throughout those difficult moments that there is love, that there is kindness, that there is an end to this and a new beginning. Because it’s, it’s, it’s the things that are forgotten.
Julie: Right.
Kaz: During those moments of life, you can call tragedies or. Whatever you want to call them, it’s… they’re the things that are forgotten.
Julie: Right. Yeah, and um… You know, the other piece is not, um, making us… well, stepping back and being an observer, if you come across a situation, or you’re aware of a new situation that you haven’t experienced before, is stepping back and observing it, and not making assumptions.
Kaz: Yes.
Julie: Right, staying in… Not making assumptions, which goes back into discerning, but the other piece is… And I was hearing a country song recently, and it was like, you know, you don’t know what someone’s going through unless you’ve walked in their shoes for a week or a day or whatever. And so we really don’t know what other people are going through. So we can’t make assumptions about what’s happening.
Kaz: Yes.
Julie: And each moment. Yeah.
Kaz: Yeah. Absolutely. I have lived that experience and I know too well that no one can understand.
Julie: Yeah, okay.
Kaz: Um, who you are in your entirety. It’s you, and it’s the divine. Um, and that’s why I found myself in the divine, because it’s the divine that understands me.
Julie: Right.
Kaz: And it’s the divine who doesn’t judge me. And. Yeah, it’s just, it’s an amazing place to be when you’re going through so much. Um, to seek the divine rather than the world. It was definitely… the way back to find your ground. And ground is very important. As turbulent as she is at the moment, um…
Julie: Yes.
Kaz: The ground will always be very important.
Julie: Yes. Yes, agreed. Agreed. Um, there’s a mosquito in my room, and I keep thinking it’s landed on me, but I don’t see it. So I’m, I’m feeling this on my nose, and I’m rubbing my nose, so I apologise for that, everybody.
Kaz: Thank you.
Julie: So… So, yeah, um, yes, agreed, grounding, us all grounding, grounding to the earth, and being solid, and knowing that we always have that ground, you know, under our feet, or… Whatever helps us feel grounded and feel comfortable and secure is important that we find that safe space and how we can feel comfortable.
Kaz: Yeah. Yeah, safety is so important. There’s unfortunately a lot of people out there who don’t understand what safety is, and that’s where they find themselves remaining in amongst the turbulence for long periods of time because they’ve lost that ability.
Julie: Mm-hmm.
Kaz: to know what safety is or to know that safety is there.
Julie: Mm-hmm. Okay.
Kaz: So, you know, it’s a bit like love. You forget these things when you go into a deeper sleep than others have been in. Um, you can find yourself forgetting so many basic things.
Julie: Right.
Kaz: like safety.
Julie: Mm-hmm.
Kaz: And, um, it takes a bit for some people to learn what safety is and how to feel it. Some people don’t know how to feel joy. They have to learn how to feel joy. Because they’ve been encapsulated by fear. So, learning that they can feel and hold such high-frequency joy.
Julie: Right.
Kaz: is the journey. You know, it’s the journey to awakening.
Julie: Yes.
Kaz: You are allowed to feel joy.
Julie: Right, right, and often it’s the nervous system that has just been in that high state of alert for so long. It takes a while to get the nervous system to calm down as well.
Kaz: Yeah.
Julie: So there’s levels to it, right? There’s physical and emotional and energetic levels related to that.
Kaz: Yeah. Always in everything, I think. And I mean, you know, it’s the foods we eat. It’s, it’s.
Julie: Yes.
Kaz: It’s everything.
Julie: Mm-hmm.
Kaz: So.
Julie: Yes.
Kaz: We really need to just take care of ourselves. Um, on a deeper level, a more loving level, a more… simple level, you know, eating highly processed foods. It’s just… a no-brainer, you know, don’t do it. No, it might be delicious. It might be easy.
Julie: Right.
Kaz: But it makes life harder.
Julie: Right. Yes, yes. Agreed. Fresh fruits and vegetables are always a good go-to.
Kaz: Yeah. Okay. Yeah.
Julie: So, yes.
Kaz: And there’s so much more than fresh fruit and vegetables, you know, you can do so much.
Julie: That’s correct.
Kaz: You know, not everyone is making highly processed foods. So, you know.
Julie: That’s true.
Kaz: Discernment.
Julie: Yes. There’s lots, yes, there’s lots of options out there, more and more options available to most anyone, and…
Kaz: Yeah.
Julie: At least in many countries, not every country. So yes. So yes, it just depends on where you live. But yes, there are more and more options available.
Kaz: Yeah. Yeah, learning to read labels.
Julie: Yes. Agreed.
Kaz: Yeah, learning to understand. Yeah.
Julie: Right, yes.
Kaz: It’s getting more and more important. With all the lab-grown foods that look like real food. But I mean, you know, it’s funny because, where does it begin and where does it end? Because even our basic fruits and vegetables, you know, our tomatoes, our carrots, they’ve all been modified to look better for us. You know, for hundreds of years, you know, our carrots were not orange. You know, it’s, it’s, and there’s so many of them. They’ve just, they’ve been changed from the get-go to make them look more appealing to us.
Julie: Okay.
Kaz: And… It’s, it’s a little crazy, so. Yeah. It’s hard to know where it begins and where it ends.
Julie: Yes. I guess. Um… Yes, I. Yeah, that’s why I have a really good, um, blessing that I do on my food, that’s asking God to… raise the frequency and vibration of my food, so anything that’s harmful in it will not… harm my body. So, and then my body can get the nutrients it needs. Yeah.
Kaz: That is a really… That is a really great idea.
Julie: Yep.
Kaz: And that extends to any medication you take or any water you swim in, like everything.
Julie: Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.
Kaz: Yeah, ask for protection.
Julie: Yes.
Kaz: And that’s all in the Bible as well, that God is there to do that for us.
Julie: Mm-hmm. Yes.
Kaz: Yeah, everything helps.
Julie: Mm-hmm.
Kaz: And your belief and your mindset and your soul. That all helps. Everything.
Julie: Yes.
Kaz: Everything like that, the simple things, the easy things are what make life so much easier.
Julie: Mm-hmm. Yes, and these are things, you know, a lot of us probably already know, but… If you’re like me, I get busy and then I forget to do them. And so, you know, this video hopefully is a reminder to many of you that these are some things we can do just to keep ourselves safe from what we’re coming in contact with, what we’re eating and what we’re experiencing. So hopefully these reminders and this conversation is helpful for everyone today.
Kaz: Yeah. Okay. Yeah. Did you want me to ask my guide? Do you want me to channel for a moment or do we have time?
Julie: Sure, if you’d like to, that’s fine, we have time.
Kaz: I always like to, I love to. The Arcturian, I hear.
The Arcturian through Kaz: Indeed. Indeed, yes. It is wise for you all to be taking higher notice of the frequency of that which you allow yourself to immerse within. Holding your foods close to you. Asking, is this right for me? Knowing exactly how your soul, your energy field, feels about where you are, who you are, and what you’re immersing in is a key to it. It’s also that which helps you to connect to your soul, to the divine, so that higher guidance can come through to gain the wisdom that you require in that moment. Such as asking for the frequency to be raised. And other such wisdoms that come through. We thank you, we bless you, we love you.
Julie: Thank you.
Kaz: That was very quick.
Julie: Yes, and very good wisdom that we can hold our foods to us, and we can actually ask our body if it’s what we want to eat, and confirm with our body, and if we can do what’s called sway testing, where if you… You can test this yourself at home, and… Just, uh, stand and hold something in your hand and ask your body if you want to, if it’s what it wants, and if you lean forward, if your body moves forward, that’s a yes. If it moves backwards, it’s a no. So that’s an easy way to check in with yourself if your body really wants that food. Um, or whatever it is. It could be a lotion you’re gonna put on your skin, it could be shampoo you’re gonna use, it could be anything. So, yeah.
Julie: So yeah, you can tune in. So as a great reminder, thank you to the Arcturians for coming through and sharing that guidance today.
Kaz: Fabulous.
Julie: Thank you.
Kaz: Yep.
Julie: Thank you, Kaz. Yep.
Kaz: You’re welcome. You’re welcome. I love these sessions. They’re just great. So. We’re here to help, and um… Yeah, I wonder what will come up for next month. But this is October.
Julie: We’ll see.
Kaz: And I have my live gathering coming up soon. If you’d like to look at my website, karenmarieeckford.com and join in for the free live gathering.
Julie: Yes, and I will be sharing shortly, so when this gets… I’ll be sharing shortly about a workshop I will be hosting in November, so I’ll be sharing about that, um, very soon. Especially for those people that have a thyroid issue, so that’ll be very helpful for people.
Kaz: Awesome.
Julie: So yes, very excited, but we are always ready to help. If you’d like to check out our websites, either of us, you can always book a chat with us, and we would love to assist you in anything that you may have.
Kaz: Awesome. Yeah, absolutely. Have free 15-minute calls. Karenmarieeckford.com. So thank you, everyone. Thank you, Julie.

Julie: And yes. Thank you everybody for joining us today.
Kaz: All right, we’ll see you. We’ll see you next week, next month.
Julie: Next month. Yes. Bye.
Kaz: Bye.
